# Connecting your ATS

> Connect your applicant tracking system to Ribbon.

*Available on Scale and Enterprise plans.*

Connecting an ATS helps you create roles from open jobs, import candidates, and synchronize supported hiring activity.

## Before you begin

You’ll need **System Admin** access in Ribbon and may need an ATS administrator or API key.

## Connect your ATS

1. Click your team name in the sidebar and select **Organization settings**.
2. Under **General**, select **Integrations**.
3. Click **Connect ATS** and select your ATS.
4. Review permissions and follow the setup instructions.
5. Wait for the initial sync before creating ATS-linked roles.

The initial sync may take **20 minutes to 72 hours**, depending on the ATS and data volume. Check connection status and last sync time under **Integrations**.

Once connected, you can create roles from ATS jobs, map statuses to stages, and set up automated interview invitations.
