# Reviewing Integrity Monitor and verification signals

> Understand verification flags and record your team's assessment.

The **Verification** tab highlights signals that may need a closer look. A flag is a prompt for review, not proof of misconduct or an automatic hiring decision.

## Review Integrity Monitor signals

Integrity Monitor reviews video interviews for moments such as extended lookaways or another person appearing in frame. It works alongside checks of the audio environment, response timing, and input consistency.

1. Open the candidate's profile and select **Verification**.
2. Review **Integrity monitoring**. A warning or **Concern detected** means a signal needs attention.
3. Expand the signal to see its timestamp.
4. Watch that moment and read the surrounding transcript.
5. Complete **Team review** to record your assessment.
6. Add context in **Notes and comments**.

Ribbon does not reject a candidate based on an integrity flag.

## Review verification signals

Below Integrity monitoring, check **Verification signals**. These may include email risk, phone validity, location consistency, and VPN usage.

Read the explanation and consider the candidate's circumstances. A VPN or location mismatch can have an ordinary explanation, particularly for remote roles.

## Complete a Team review

1. Review flagged signals alongside the interview and transcript.
2. Select **Looks genuine** or **Suspicious**.
3. Click **Save review**.

Your saved review overrides Ribbon's automated flags and is visible to your team. Team review is optional.

The presence or absence of a signal doesn't establish someone's identity or guarantee whether outside assistance occurred.
